Callie Hoffmann

Associate Attorney

Named as “30 Women Under 30” to watch in the psychedelics industry in 2022 by SSDP, and one of “100 grassroots psychedelic leaders you should know” by Hyphae Leaks in 2023, Callie Hoffmann is a cannabis and psychedelics attorney and drug policy strategist and advocate. She advises clients at the forefront of the highly regulated and rapidly evolving cannabis and psychedelic industries on matters of regulatory compliance, dispute resolution, dealmaking, risk mitigation, licensing, and criminal defense.

Ms. Hoffmann has a background working in the state legislature, foreign policy advocacy and diplomacy, and community organizing. She has passionately built diverse coalitions and pragmatic power strategies to advance drug policy reforms rooted in evidence, compassion, community, and harm reduction. Callie proudly sits on the board of directors for Students for Sensible Drug Policy, the nation’s largest network of young people dedicated to dismantling the War on Drugs, and is an Affiliated Scholar at the Project on Psychedelic Law and Regulation at Harvard Law School’s Petrie Flom Center. Through her board involvement and advocacy in these organizations,  she has advocated directly at the White House for the release of drug prisoners and  to design model psychedelic regulatory frameworks. Callie Hoffmann is licensed to practice law in the State of California, and earned her J.D. from the University of California Law, San Francisco, and B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
